Description
The University will take the following actions in anticipation of the state budget reductions:
1-Free hiring for all new and replacement non-instructional faculty positions funded through the Education and General Program.
2-Overtime pay must be approved in advance by the Executive Vice President.
3-Contracts for temporary employees must be approved in advance by the Executive Vice President.
4-Travel requests will continue to be reviewed by the Provost or appropriate Vice President, but approvals will be limited to mission-essential travel.
5-All equipment purchases must be approved by the Provost or the appropriate Vice President.
