"Dr. Laurel Thatcher Ulrich will present a lecture entitled “Well-behaved Women Seldom Make History” in the Music and Theatre Hall of the Ferguson Center for the Arts, Christopher Newport University, on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at 4 p.m.. In this presentation, Dr. Ulrich will consider the roots of women’s history, as well as the many ways that historical information is transmitted to and absorbed by the general public. The lecture will be of interest to those in history, public history, women’s and gender studies, American studies, and the humanities more broadly."
