Petition from the Department of Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science to the Buildings and Grounds Committee. It requests a "permanent moratorium on cutting trees in the small portion of woods between the New Science Building and the North Parking lot." They wish to use it as an outdoor classroom and have it called Wise Woods in honor of Dr. E. Spencer Wise.
They would like to dedicate it on April 22, 1990 in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of Earth Day.
