Be a Part of History!
In December 1973 the Collegiate Civitan Club of Christopher Newport College created a time capsule βto be opened December 2010.β It was buried under the floor of the old Student Center between Discovery Cafe and the entrance to Library Services and was marked by a bronze plaque. Before the Student Center was demolished in 2007, the capsule was carefully removed and placed in a vault for safe keeping until now.
Please join with the University Community as we open the time capsule and establish a new time capsule for the next 50 years*.

*We will be accepting submissions of items to considered for placement in the new time capsule to be buried May 2011. Items must be relevant to 2010/11 or CNU, meaningful, and no larger than an 8.5 x 11β sheet of paper and no more than 4β wide. If you have any questions about the submission process, please contact the Office of University Events at cnuevents@cnu.edu or 594-7856.
