I am pleased to announce that our 2010 commencement speaker will be the Honorable Bill Bolling, Lieutenant Governor of Virginia. Bill Bolling was elected to a second four-year term as Lieutenant Governor in November 2009 and won 57% of the popular vote. Prior to his election as Lieutenant Governor, Mr. Bolling served for ten years in the Virginia Senate where he was widely recognized for his work on health care and natural resources issues. Governor McDonnell has selected Mr. Bolling to serve as Virginia’s Chief Jobs Creation Officer and he is responsible for coordinating our state’s economic development programs and working with business leaders to identify ways to improve our state’s economy.
